Sunday Talk - My response to the Annual Meeting

The collective world population for the last 6,000 is nowhere near 150 billion, and that is not taking into account the extended life -span prior to the flood. It reminds me of when watchtower published “insight” into the total numbers of people who had lived to date, saying that they could all stand on the isle of wight just south of England. About 140 odd square miles. How they arrived at that calculation they did not say. If we take Bable as the divergent point of population into the the further reaches of the world - also taking into account the entire wipeout of population in the flood, the aggregate population numbers are amazingly low. I guess in those days people had other things to do! Also, prior to the flood, there appears to have been a great deal greater expanse of land mass. Areas that we know of today include the Mediterranean area, the Black Sea, the North sea and most of the Chanel (not the GB Chanel!), and of course, the south pole. Also the vast areas of land waste in the deserts in China and Africa will become available too. There also may be the provision of other planets for mothers -in- law too, cutting the population in two!
Well, I won't quibble about how many humans have lived on earth 🤣 since it's impossible to know that for certain and it's not my intention to start an argument here. I was going by Russell's very broad estimate of "one hundred and forty-three billions of humans who have lived on the earth since Adam's creation." (Divine Plan, Our Lord's Return, page 99), and then approximately adding the population since, which would, I suppose, make the total broad estimate to be 151 billion, but it would be silly to argue about that as there's no way anyone can know for certain, and he was going by estimates of 1886 and the knowledge available at the time. Russell could have been wrong, as could I. 😉

At any rate, the plan outlined on the Georgia guidestones, that is to limit earth's population to 500,000,000, is far from being what God has planned.

I see! It never occurred to me that such a number came from Russell ! 🤣 I didn’t see it as argumentative either, but rather alarming and so checked it out - as you say, it’s not exactly that important because either way, it is what it is. It will be interesting to see just what the outcome is. Interestingly watchtower also said of all those that have ever lived that there would be approx two acres of land per person. Personally, I have never had that much faith in watchtower to believe all they say, especially as they do not encourage education. I hope that there will be a few resurrected - I don’t want to clean up the entire south of England on my own, and Mick is going to have his work cut out in the midlands, let alone poor sister in the North!

By the speed of advancement shown by the members here is most encouraging. Shows; you just have to point us in the right scriptural direction and were on the way. Imagine if these truths were given us some decades back from Bethel?

But scripture must be fulfilled 2Thess2:11 "That is why God let's a deluding influence mislead them so that they may come to believe the lie" Why? vs10 'They did not accept the love of the truth in order that they might be saved'.

I'm immediately engaging in negotions B: More recruits are looking likely while there is a reluctance on part of Iran to take baiting from Anglo/American provocations.
Well you could advertise in Dover for help. We have about 100 refugees landing every few hours, failing which, try the Mexican border? I see Rishi has got his way to exporting all the unwanted people landing on our shores off to be exploited in Rwanda . Let me see now……..ah yes! Germany 1939, Britain closed its boarders to a certain religious group fleeing oppression there, but the Germans exported them all to Poland - good to see that “lessons have been learnt.” As they like to say.

Dover? I advertised in the Manchester Echo; Funds are light you see. Also they are a desperate lot up there. Much lessons from war time B; Bethel in WWI in a test to see if Jehovah was with them ordered an impossible tonnage of coal to see if their quest was worthy. I'm doing the same only with a request for an extension on my Credit card. I will keep you posted.

There will be quite a few resurrected. "all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out", "there will be a resurrection of the righteous and the unrighteous."
