All of the reviews to date have been interesting to me but this one may be a blockbuster. I think, from what I’ve read on the forum, this book of Daniel is so crammed full of interesting scriptural points as well as mysteries that most of the forum members have discussed their different aspects. Won’t it be wonderful when the anointed are sealed to fully understand its meaning? Here is the beginning quote from this chapter:

“In the days of those kings the God of heaven will set up a kingdom that will never be destroyed...It will crush and put an end to all these kingdoms, and it alone will stand forever...”

-Daniel 2:44-

Daniel is one of the most intriguing and profound prophetic books in the Bible. Basically, Daniel was given a brief outline of the progression of the primary world powers from the Babylonian Empire to the last kingdom that is destined to be directly vanquished by the Kingdom of the heavens. However, Daniel did not merely write down the prophetic visions he was privileged to record. Daniel and his three Hebrew companions directly participated in a series of prophetic dramas; and in so doing, have provided portents of God’s future dealings during the time of the end.”

If we survive the Great Tribulation, we will see God answer or respond to the issue that Jesus taught us to pray for at Matthew 6:9-10: “You must pray, then, this way:“‘Our Father in the heavens, let your be sanctified. Let your Kingdom come. Let your will take place, as in heaven, also on earth.

Its interesting to do a word search in the NWT for “kingdom” to see how that topic is discussed in inspired scripture. Just as the devil and all of his army would like us to forget Jehovah’s name, he would also like us to not know what the Kingdom means to us. Even the word “Kingdom” is rarely used in today’s world and when talking about it we often need to explain that it is a real government. But I found an interesting scripture that takes on new meaning for me and the setting is at 1 Corinthians chapter 4 where Paul was correcting the Corinthians anointed congregation. He asked them if they had already started ruling as Kings. They were puffed up with pride going beyond the teachings in the scriptures and this is what he said to them at 1 Corinthians 4:20-21: “For the Kingdom of God is a matter not of speech but of power. Which do you prefer? Shall I come to you with a rod or with love and mildness of spirit?”. Jesus is coming to cleanse his people, seal the Chosen Ones and he could say the same thing.

Yes Sister; John in Revelation 10:11 after eating the little scroll sweet in his mouth and bitter to the belly when he is resurrected will relate to his fellow bro's and sis' annointed on earth to prophesy again about peoples, nations and tongues and many kings!

Here is a little gem. We know that the contents of Daniel and Revelation are complimentary. For example, the beasts and the chronology; the holy ones being trampled upon, reference to Michael as the one leading God's army. Besides the actual content though, both Daniel and John interacted with their angelic presenters. Both men collapsed at the sight of the spirits and became as dead men. At the time, Daniel and John were both captives in kingdoms that comprised the seven-headed beast. Coincidence? Hardly. Both prophets were participating in a drama that foreshadows Christ appearing to the chosen while they are in a captive condition.

Nehemiah 8:7-8: “And Jeshʹu·a, Baʹni, She·re·biʹah, Jaʹmin, Akʹkub, Shabʹbe·thai, Ho·diʹah, Ma·a·seiʹah, Ke·liʹta, Az·a·riʹah, Joʹza·bad, Haʹnan, and Pe·laʹiah, who were Levites, were explaining the Law to the people, while the people remained standing. And they continued reading aloud from the book, from the Law of the true God, clearly explaining it and putting meaning into it; so they helped the people to understand what was being read.”

This is the same thing Robert King has done for us. He has clearly explained what he has discerned and he has put meaning into it. Once again, I want to first thank Jehovah but thanks should also go to Robert King for doing what is right in Jehovah’s eyes. And, not to forget, all of the forum members who are seeking Jehovah’s righteousness and posting about the truth to keep the conversations going, thank you as well. We have been helped in the same way as the nation of Israel was helped to understand what was being read.

So Christ will come alongside the chosen ones while JWs are in a captive condition. That makes sense, I've been wondering about that.

What do you mean by 'captive condition'?

1 Thess4:15 'We the living who survive to the presence of the Lord will no way precede those who have fallen asleep in death' So the apostle John who is in reciept of the details laid down in the little scroll will when resurrected be able to reveal to the annointed living on earth it's content: Rev 6:9-11 The opening of the fifth seal describing the slaughtered souls under the altar because of their witness ask 'Untill when sovereign Lord are you refraining from judging and avenging our blood? And a white robe is given to them and told to rest a little while longer until the number was filled of their fellow slaves and their brothers who were about to be killed as they had been'. This could indicate the first resurrection will occur just before the opening of the sixth seal when world is plunged into darkness ????? Taking this hypothesis further would it be safe to say that Christ will cleanse the heavens before the first resurrection? If so how many seals prior to the fifth would indicate this? 4th? 3rd? second or would it be when Christ mounts His white horse?

I sure hope being in captivity to Babylon does not include being in captivity to Muslims! But who knows? They do seem to be wielding power in unlikely places. That would be very terrifying.

Quote from Chapter 24:

”Question: What do the prophecies of Daniel, Ezekiel and Revelation have in common?

Answer: Daniel, Ezekiel and the apostle John were all three in a captive condition to the very empires that make up the composite wild beast of prophecy when Jehovah unveiled his prophetic messages to them. That being the case, Daniel and the princes from the royal realm of the city of Jehovah being taken into captivity in Babylon must surely foreshadow how Christ’s princes of the holy place are destined to go into captivity to the eighth king and be subjected to the authority of the Babylonish harlot of Revelation that will sit upon the symbolic wild beast during the final denunciation. Then is when the prophecies are to be unsealed.”

For those of you, myself included, who appreciate understanding the symbolic use of numbers in the bible, here is an interesting quote regarding the number 10.

The faithfulness of the Hebrew princes during a time of testing foreshadows how Christians must refuse to pollute themselves with the wine of Babylon the Great during their captivity. And although they were not imprisoned in literal cells, the captive Jews being further put “to the test ten days” finds a parallel in Revelation, where Jesus forewarned the Smynra congregation: “Look! The Devil will keep on throwing some of you into prison that you may be fully put to the test, and that you may have tribulation ten days. Prove yourself faithful even to death, and I will give you the crown of life.”

As the Society has correctly discerned, the number 10 is used in prophecy as a symbol of earthly completeness. In regards to being put to the test for ten days, it symbolizes how the earthly members of Christ’s anointed congregation will ultimately fulfill Jehovah’s purpose in connection with them before they leave this earth for their heavenly reward— being completely put to the test.

Their being found “ten times better than all the magic-practicing priests and conjurers in all the royal realm” is a portent of how the wisdom of this world will be brought to nothing when the sons of the Kingdom are ultimately filled with all wisdom and spiritual comprehension in connection with the manifestation of Christ through them.

As a consequence of their being found fitter than their non-Jewish contemporaries, Daniel became a permanent advisor to the court of the king and his three Hebrew companions were appointed “over the administration of the province of Babylon.” That development fittingly foreshadows how the chosen ones will stand before kings and governors during the conclusion of the system of things in order to give them a thorough witness, as Jesus Christ foretold; and no one will be able to hold their own against them, as was also portrayed by Stephen’s dramatic final witness to the Jewish high court.”

That's pretty interesting. I forgot that I wrote that

I think everyone who has read Robert King’s book know this info but I am including it in the review because to me it is so important that the Org’s teaching that the 7th King is the last King is not correct. The image in Daniel with the different features from the head to the toes, itself in it’s entirety is the 8th King. That is the the last human government that will be allowed. When I read that, I knew with no doubt it was true because it harmonized exactly with Revelation that specifically calls it the 8th King. How could the Org get it so wrong? Actually I think they know but don’t want to admit it. The question is why?

Here is a quote from Chapter 24:

As regards the second chapter of Daniel, the metallic colossus with the head of gold supported on the feet of iron and clay represents a single composite kingdom that is ultimately shattered by the stone, not chiseled by human hands.

Since the metallic image seems to be in inverted order, with the feet of iron and clay upon which the entire image is standing representing the most recent powers, the logical question is: What does the image itself represent? As discussed in a previous chapter, according to Revelation chapter 17 there is an eighth king that springs from the seven. So, the Anglo-American king is not the last king. He has a successor that rules for a prophetic one hour. The entire image, with its head of gold, which Daniel specifically interpreted to symbolize King Nebuchadnezzar himself, must represent the eighth and final king.

That Nebuchadnezzar represents the final kingdom is made apparent in the prophecy of Isaiah; specifically, chapters 13-14, where the king of Babylon is portrayed as the last of all of the goat-like rulers of the earth, who does not even receive an honorable burial —as have his predecessors. Instead, his fallen carcass is left to rot on the earth like a slaughtered beast—just as Revelation depicts the vanquished last kingdom of earth in the aftermath of the war at Armageddon.

They know alright they just reject that understanding. I say that because one of the last summer conventions I attended one of the talks was pertaining to this prophecy and I recall they actually said that the entire image does not represent an 8th king as some apostates are teaching. My ears perked up because I knew they must have read Roberts book because that's where I first heard that. This had to be 2013 or prior because I stopped attending meetings that year.

Oh My. Thank you for letting us know and making it public. I think this is a thread that will unravel to reveal something important.
